Arnold Heckman the President and Founder of Corporate Investment has been instrumental in establishing the major business broker professional associations in the Maryland and Washington, DC metropolitan areas. Mr. Heckman was one of the founding members of the Washington Business Brokers Association in the mid 1980’s and has been Vice President for the past 10 years. The WBBA is made up of business brokerage professionals from Maryland, Washington, DC and Virginia. The WBBA routinely holds their monthly meetings at the CI Headquarters.

Recently, the Washington Business Brokers Association, and the Mid-Atlantic Business Brokers Association have chosen to merge in order to bring the membership of both orgainzations under one banner.  The new orgainzation will be known as the Mid-Atlantic Business Intermediaries Association, or MABIA.  In a continuing effort to help up-hold the professional standards of the business brokerage community, Mr. Heckman will be acting as the association's Treasurer.

Corporate Investment asks that you to support those business brokers who belong to, and abide by, the professional standards set by the MABIA, whether you are dealing with a business broker in Maryland, Washington, DC or Virginia.
